The Wilbur Wright Birthplace and Museum is proud to announce these exciting new developments!
New Hires
            Ms. Tara Bostater will be joining the museum as the new Director.  Tara brings a wealth of museum leadership and experience.  She has served as the curator of the Bainbridge Township Historical Society, Bainbridge, OH., Executive Director of the Ashtabula Maritime Museum, Ashtabula, OH, and the Museum Educator and Interpreter at the First Ladies National Historical Site, Canton, OH.  Tara holds a Certificate in Historic Preservation and M.A. of History and Museum Studies both from Cleveland State University, a B.A. in History and B.A. in Anthropology both from Kent State University, Ohio.  The museum is pleased and honored to have Tara join us.  Her talent and capabilities will refresh the operations, sustainability, and growth of the Museum.

About the Museum
            The museum holds and exhibits the original birthplace home of Wilbur Wright and a full-size accurate replica of the Wright Flyer – the world’s first successful controllable airplane, and much more. We are seasonally open from April 1 to November 1.  Own a helicopter?  Drop in and see us!  Please call first so that we know you are arriving as parking is limited.  Look on the St. Louis Sectional Chart for (II9).  The birth home is registered with Indiana Landmarks.  Your support ensures that the home and museum buildings and artifacts are here for future generations to come and see these important icons of aviation history.  Along with your    501 c 3 tax-deductible support, memberships are rewarded with cool aviation gifts!  JOIN TODAY!
